Museums Archives Libraries Schools

I have designed and delivered over two hundred workshops and hands-on sessions in universities, colleges and schools worldwide.

I was previously Visiting Professor of English at New York University (London) and at the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic). I occasionally deliver module components for University of Westminster and University of East London.

My work with schools is built strongly around the use of local archive material wherever possible as a driver to enhance appreciation of English and History. Talk to me if you are interested in a bespoke or 'off the shelf' session for your institution.

I have worked with English Heritage, The National Trust, Kent Police College, The Heritage Lottery Fund, Her Majesty’s Prison, The Mount a host of commuity organisations and London borough councils to develop BAME heritage-based programmes linked to community development.

For the past four years I have worked with theatre professionals to produce a series of interactive Black history tours around the borough of Southwark.

Let me know if my approach or experience can add value to your programmes and projects.
